New Abarth 600e, the most powerful car from the Italian brand is an electric SUV!
The first 100% electric SUV from the Abarth brand bursts onto the scene. The new Abarth 600e arrives. A sporty crossover that boasts being the most powerful model ever created by the Italian firm with up to 207 kW (280 HP) and 334 kilometers of range according to the WLTP cycle.

Abarth, with a huge tradition in competition and tuning, does not want to be left behind in Stellantis' transition to electric. Likewise, it refuses to throw away all its knowledge acquired over so many years by adding cleverness to popular FIAT models like the 500 and the 600, among others.
That is why today it has unveiled its commitment to leap into electric mobility with the 600e, announcing it as the most powerful Abarth ever built and establishing its own interpretation of the "hot Hatch" for urban environments, without losing practicality for day-to-day use. This new model will be based on the new BEV platform called Perfo eCMP developed jointly between Abarth and Stellantis Motorsport.

The first 100% electric SUV from Abarth is presented to the public
The new Abarth 600e will also have two versions: the Turismo will deliver up to 175 kW (240 HP) and the limited edition Scorpionissima, with all the equipment, will reach up to 207 kW (280 HP) in a limited series of 1,949 units, a figure that coincides with the year of the founding of the scorpion brand.
This exclusive electric engine has been tested on the Formula E test bench, and according to the brand, its figures far exceed those of other compact electric SUVs with sporting aspirations. Abarth also gives us more figures about its new toy: an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.85 seconds for the Scorpionissima, a maximum torque of 345 Nm with instantaneous response. At 200 km/h, its maximum speed, the Abarth 600e offers a range of 334 kilometers in the WLTP cycle.
Thanks to a driving mode selector, it is possible to choose between the Turismo, Scorpion Street, and Scorpion Track profiles. Depending on the selected mode, comfort or maximum performance will be prioritized. It can unleash all its power, modifying the calibration of the accelerator, the steering, and the "permissiveness" of the ESP.
And since it's not all about - especially in an Abarth - flooring it on a straight, the new 600e is equipped with a Torsen differential signed by JTEKT, limiting slip to 36% during accelerations. The 380 mm Alcon brakes with 4-piston calipers come directly from competition and ensure optimal heat dissipation. Abarth has made a special effort to adjust the stiffness of the suspension and the rear stabilizer bar so that every curve feels fun yet under control. Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires will keep us glued to the asphalt in the meantime.

Abarth 600e, an electric SUV that exudes a sporty image
Its appearance is described as "evil" by the Italian brand, and it certainly looks muscular and features unique stylistic solutions for this model. In this section, a balance has also been sought between emotional past and future. To start, the Abarth 600e features a gigantic square air intake at the front for the front radiator, nicknamed "cassetone" and is a direct reference to the legendary Abarth 850 TC. In addition to the aesthetic factor, the bumpers and spoiler were tested in a wind tunnel to improve heat extraction and aerodynamics.
The 20-inch diamond alloy wheels with 5 spokes are designed to showcase the powerful brakes with an aggressive presence. The electrified scorpion, which already made its debut in the Abarth 500e, also characterizes this model, enriching some external points.
Its strongly defined shapes are also highlighted with a range of colors, all inspired by the sting of the scorpion... or its consequences: Acid green, Antidote White, Venom Black, or Hypnotic Purple are some examples.

The interior of the new electric Abarth 600
As we already knew, the interior matches the design, where the Sabelt seats (whose finish corresponds to the Turismo or Scorpionissima version) or the steering wheel with leather and Alcantara inserts stand out. The entire theme in the cabin is dark, with details that evoke sportiness.
Of course, we have all the infotainment one would expect from such a vehicle, and with some additional details courtesy of the scorpion brand: for example, a performance measurement system if we decide to take it to the track.
From the 10-inch central screen, we can configure and enhance our experience, with a Level 2 Assisted Driving system, 360-degree parking sensors, blind spot monitor, signal reading, rearview camera, among other systems that make it clear that at Abarth they know their 600e will not be used only for circuits or idyllic mountain passes, but it must also be a comfortable car for day-to-day use.

Release date and prices of the new Abarth 600e

The latter is limited, as we have noted, to 1,949 units.
