Up to €880 savings per year and protection against blackouts, Tesla launches its most advanced home battery in Spain
Tesla launches the third generation of its home battery in Spain. The Powerwall 3 arrives, an energy storage system that not only serves as the perfect complement for electric vehicles, but also offers protection against blackouts and an annual savings of up to €880 on the electricity bill.

The third generation of Tesla's home battery finally arrives in Spain. The Powerwall 3 is the ideal complement for electric vehicle owners. Tesla, a leading brand in the field of fully electric mobility, is also betting on this type of energy storage system with the aim of "democratizing sustainable energy".
Tesla states that its improved home battery will transform the way Spanish households manage their energy, combining cutting-edge technology with a robust and efficient design. The third generation Powerwall offers greater power, more autonomy, and, equally important, higher savings. Additionally, Tesla reminds that it is also a protection against blackouts.

Powerwall 3, the renewed home battery from Tesla arrives in Spain
Since its first generation, which arrived in 2015, more than 800,500 units of the Powerwall have been installed worldwide. This new model is capable of supplying energy to most European homes with a single unit that stores excess solar energy generated during the day for use at night or during peak electricity pricing hours.
In Self-Supply mode, Powerwall 3 users in Spain can reduce their dependence on the electrical grid by up to 67%. The Programmable Control also allows homes with variable electricity rates to maximize their savings. The Powerwall 3 can be set to charge only when electricity prices are low. On average, Spanish households with solar panels and Powerwall 3 can save up to €880 per year.
Tesla's home battery also offers protection during power outages. The Powerwall 3 automatically detects interruptions and becomes the home's energy source. Tesla claims that during the national blackout that occurred on April 28, the installed Powerwall 2 units in Spain provided more than 4,500 hours of collective energy backup during the outage.

More power and autonomy, the Powerwall 3 is now on sale in Spain
Compared to the previous model, the new Powerwall 3 can generate between 3.68 kW and 11.04 kW during blackouts, making it a home battery suitable for any type of housing. It has an integrated solar inverter, reducing the need to install additional components and thus allowing for a cleaner and more aesthetic installation.
